Mold Occurs Naturally

Q. I've been hearing a lot lately about problems with mold in homes. Doesn't mold just naturally occur?

A: Yes, mold is a naturally occuring fungi. Mold has just recently been linked to health problems, coming from indoor air quality (IAQ) in homes.

The most common problem is moisture in the home. Leaking pipes, water in a basement, condensation, and high humidity levels provide the4 perfect breeding ground for mold.
